Objetivo
Entender las bases neurofisiológicas de la memoria y aprendizaje en vertebrados; y los mecanismos fisiopatológicos del deterioro cognitivo.
- Entender las bases neurofisiológicas de la memoria y aprendizaje en vertebrados: humanos y aves.
- Entender los mecanismos fisiopatológicos del deterioro cognitivo en AD y CADASIL a nivel gliovascular (GVU)
- Entender los mecanismos de resistencia a enfermedades neurodegenerativas a nivel gliovascular
- Desarrollar moléculas sintéticas hibridas (SH) patentables utilizando modelos preclínicos para el tratamiento del AD.
- Formación doctoral y entrenamiento posdoctoral.
- Formación estudiantes de Maestría, y pregrado (Jóvenes Investigadores).
- Formación experimental en Microscopía confocal y electrofisiológica en posgrado de Biología y CCBB.
- Promover internacionalización de la formación.
- Servicios de microscopía confocal, procesamiento y análisis de imágenes confocales y tissue scanner.
- Diseño, síntesis y screenning de moléculas posiblemente neuroprotectores in vitro.
